The EPIC-WE project is proud to announce the establishment of its Advisory Board, a group of esteemed experts whose guidance will help shape our ideas, research, and innovative activities. This initiative aims to create a dynamic synergy between the Consortium’s investigations and the world-class expertise of Advisory Board members, ensuring that EPIC-WE not only meets its goals but exceeds expectations in contributing to sustainable and impactful change. The Advisory Board members will contribute to EPIC-WE with their expertise, providing feedback on the initiatives of the project and participating in project events, research dissemination, and other collaborative opportunities.

Dr. Elias G. Carayannis | Professor, George Washington University School of Business
An innovator in science, technology, and entrepreneurship,  Carayannis is renowned for developing the Quadruple and Quintuple Helix innovation models, incorporating environmental sustainability into growth strategies. Dr. Gaetano Dimita | Reader in Interactive Entertainment and Intellectual Property Law, Queen Mary University of London
Specializing in Games and Interactive Entertainment Law, Gaetano Dimita brings expertise in legal frameworks that shape game development and cultural heritage. Dr. Mary Flanagan | Distinguished Professor of Digital Humanities at Dartmouth College
Mary Flanagan is Distinguished Professor of Digital Humanities at Dartmouth College, where she engages in transdisciplinary teaching and research. She is the founder and director of Tiltfactor, one of the longest-running game research labs in the U.S., with over 20 years of groundbreaking work. Dr. Annakaisa Kultima | Game Design and Development Master’s program at Aalto University
Annakaisa Kultima is a university lecturer in the Game Design and Development Master’s program at Aalto University. With a PhD in Game Studies from Tampere University, she has dedicated over two decades to researching the creative practices of game developers and makers. A leading expert in game jams, Annakaisa has participated in over 50 such events globally in various roles, including organizer, judge, and participant.
