We’re delighted to have been present at the European Researchers’ Night, which took place on 26 September at the National Museum of Natural History and Science (ULisboa) in Lisbon. The event aims to bring citizens closer to science by promoting projects carried out in Portuguese research centres.
At the HEI-Lab stand, the Human-environment Interaction Lab from Universidade Lusófona – Centro Universitário Lisboa, visitors were able to play four of the games developed at the Óbidos hub: Puss in Books, Criminal Fauna Identification, Blue Brigade and Bufo Catcher, seeing the results of the project first-hand. These cultural games attracted 189 visitors!
The event was an opportunity for other researchers and the general public to learn more about the project’s objectives and the cultural game jam model in conversation with researchers and event participants, and to discuss new ways of youth empowerment and learning about cultural heritage. We’re so glad to have attended!
