We’re back with another EPIC game, made during one of our Óbidos Game Jams!
‘Puss In Books’ invites players into a dreamlike literary world inspired by the legends, streets, and typography of Óbidos. Guiding a curious kitty through a series of imaginative dreamscapes, the game blends storytelling, environmental puzzles, and playful exploration, drawing inspiration from Scribblenauts and the craft of traditional printing. From imprinted letters to enchanted books, each level offers a new challenge in a whimsical quest to uncover literary magic (with plenty of cats along the way).
Originally prototyped by Team Ovo Cozido during the first Cultural Game Jam in Óbidos (February 2024), Puss In Books was later developed further in collaboration with Lisbon-based studio BATTLESHEEP, evolving into a charming homage to Óbidos’ legends told through words, dreams, and paws. 🐱✨
